Head Teacher's Welcome
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Hollyfield Primary School on behalf of the governors, staff and pupils here.
As the Head Teacher at Hollyfield, I have the highest expectations for all our children and believe that every child is important. Our pupils are all individuals with their own needs, abilities and aspirations and our caring and highly skilled staff work hard to provide an excellent, all round education where each child is nurtured, encouraged and given the necessary skills to become confident and resilient learners, able to tackle the challenges of life they face now and in the future.
We pride ourselves as being very much at the heart of the local community we serve, and by choosing Hollyfield, you give us the opportunity to give your child the very best start in life. It is our aim to develop excellent working relationships with all families from the very start of a child’s life, as we see education and the development of the whole child as a partnership between home and school. Parents/Carers play a pivotal role in helping the school foster positive attitudes to learning and by contributing their views and ideas in a number of ways. Together, we work to ensure that every child can succeed academically and develop personal qualities of which we can be proud.
We regard belonging to our school as something which is important to us all. Our children tell us that they feel happy, safe and valued and we hope that you and your child will also very soon feel part of our Hollyfield family.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your child’s journey.
At Hollyfield Primary School, we aim to provide a safe and happy learning environment which empowers all children to develop independence, positive attitudes and an awareness of their community and world responsibilities.
